# The Chronos Guard
A secretive and highly disciplined group operating independently of the Iron Syndicate and the Spore Cult. They believe the Chrono-Shard is not a weapon or power source, but a key to stabilizing or potentially rewriting local spacetime. The Guard is driven by fragmented historical knowledge and seeks components necessary to interface with the Shard, maintaining a position of elite, covert power.
