# The Mnemonic Trench Keepers
A clandestine group of survivors dwelling within the deeper, less stable reaches of the Echo Scar and the Chronal Seam. The Keepers possess unique biological adaptations that allow them to partially exist outside the standard timeline, making them invaluable—and extremely dangerous—for accessing unstable temporal sites. They trade in knowledge of localized temporal echoes and salvage residual memories from collapsed timelines. They view the Chronos Guard as reckless intruders and the Iron Syndicate as crude exploiters of the Seam's energy.
